I was born here in Baton Rouge, Louisiana but my childhood was spend in Wilberforce, Ohio. My father was a professor of mathematics and architecture at Central State University and the environment I grew up in revolved around a small community of educators.
I graduated from Xenia H.S. 1978 and went to art school at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. I graduated in 1980 with an AST in Visual Communications and immediately began working in the field of commercial art.
