When I was living in So Florida I photographed a lot of birds. There are quite a few wetlands and bird sanctuaries in Florida and I did a series of different species of birds and butterflies. This is one of the flamingo images that I photographed using a Nikon D2x with a 80-200mm lens.  @ f/2.8. There are a list of birds that I have yet to photograph. Since my 80-400mm lens was stolen I have cut back my wildlife photography considerably. I found though that even with a 400mm reach I found my range was usually within 200mm. I think should I continue to shoot wildlife not in macro that I would want to get a longer lens again.
